1. Create a channel

A Channel is where you can store many videos, therefore, you need to create a channel first.

At the KioStudio page, click on "Create channel" (arrow 1)

The "Create channel" dialog shall appear, in which please input name and description (arrow 2) of the channel, then click "Submit"

2. Add videos to the channel

After a channel has been created, for example with the name "FunVideos", take a look at the channel selection at the upper right corner, you'll see this name, please select it, as shown below

After a channel is selected, click on "Add video" as shown below

In the "Add videos" dialog, you'll see there are different sources to import videos from:

  • Youtube
  • Facebook
  • Upload

For Youtube and Facebook, you can input web address, for the Upload source, you can upload any video from your computer.

In this guide, we'll use Youtube as an example, as you can see below, HanKio shall automatically grab video information from Youtube, including title, duration and thumbnail of the video. Click "Add video" button below to import this video to your selected channel.

3. Delete or change video details

After imported to the channel, videos shall appear in a list as shown below.

Please pay attention to the below points:

Checkboxes (arrow 1): Click on these checkboxes will show action buttons on the top, such as "Delete", allowing you to implement delete actions or other actions on multiple videos.

Visibility (arrow 2):

  • Private: No one can see this video unless you share it to that particular user via that user's email
  • Public: Video is public on HanKio's video page: https://hankio.com/videos. This option is only applicable if your channel was pre-approved for public appearance
  • Unlisted: anyone and use the video's address to view this video. However, like the public mode, you can only use this mode if your channel was pre-approved for public appearance.

Video title (arrow 3): Click here to access the manage page for this particular video, where you can run auto-transcription, i.e. auto-recognizing voice in the videos into subtitles, as well as translating and embedding subtitles into the video.
