Translate subtitles

After transcribing the audio to subtitles and adjust timings of the subtitles in original language, you're ready to translate the subtitles.

KioStudio has an automatic translation tool, with a click, you can have all the subtitles contents translated to the target language of your choice. After that you're encouraged to make changes to ensure the translations contents are precise.

1. Automatic translation

Click on "Translation" (arrow 1) as shown below.

In the translation dialog, select the target language (arrow 2), then hit "Translate"

2. Select the subtitle language to edit

After the automatic translation is done, the new language will be available in the menu at the upper right corner (three vertical dots), you can select that new language (as shown in the arrow below)

In the example below, after selecting "Vietnamese", all subtitles has changed to this language.

Now you can make changes to ensure the translations are precise.
